Authoritarian.....of or pertaining to a government or political system, principle, or practice in which individual freedom is held as completely subordinate to the power or authority of the state, centered either in one person or a small group that is not constitutionally accountable to the people.
Azerbaijan has never held an election that has been considered fair and without election fraud.
Elections are going to be held on December 23rd. I doubt if their dubious honor of recognition by the UN and other global elections watchers will change.

Elections were last Oct and not a single sign of campaigning. If I was not told, I would not know. "Annmarie" told me that she was going to vote although it would not make a difference. But she was going because if she didn't, her vote would go towards the incumbent, which she opposed. Then the results were (leaked) out the day before the elections were to be held. It was the funniest thing ever! What was even funnier was that they did not even try to change the "results" a bit so that rest of the world can say "see, it's not the same as was leaked yesterday so maybe it was free and fair". The biggest joke ever.
